We installed the Clouseau unit and immediately stopped all peer to peer file transfers. We have not received a single copyright complaint since the unit went online.
The support staff has been very attentive at helping us get the unit online and has even adapted the unit to meet our specific needs.
The automatic updates and constantly improving graphical interface have minimized the maintenance while allowing access to detailed reporting of peer to peer connections that have been intercepted.
Given the level of protection achieved via the Clouseau, we are confident that our students are well protected from the inherent risk associated with peer to peer file-sharing.

Clouseau immediately provided our customer with P2P protection and within 3-4 days had “given back” almost half of their bandwidth.

SafeMedia’s Clouseau underwent a battery of tests at HughesTech Labs.
Our Engineers found the in-line installation of Clouseau to our LAN to be very simple.
Clouseau withstood and protected our network without failure or any false-positive.
We had forty client PCs hanging on the LAN, each PC, some running Windows XP and Windows Vista were loaded with all known p2p client software.
Clouseau, to our surprise was blocking all p2p traffic in and out of the PCs while still maintaining our bandwidth on the LAN.
We even tried to circumvent Clouseau’s security by using encrypted tunnels to pass the p2p traffic, but Clouseau nailed them all!
Our Cisco PIX Firewall and other Network Security devices failed to stop the encrypted and circumventing proxies used with peer-to-peer when Clouseau was not installed.
